Your First Visit

To help us get started, please bring the following to your appointment:

  • Insurance card
  • Valid ID

We welcome both private insurance and Medi-Cal patients and are happy to help you understand your coverage.

A Comfortable Experience for Kids & Parents

We believe parents play an important role in their child’s dental experience. Parents are always allowed and encouraged to stay in the room during treatment.

  • Masks are not required
  • Our team creates a calm, friendly environment for every child

Age & Patient Policy

Dino Smiles Pediatric Dentistry treats patients from infancy through age 17. Once a patient turns 18, we will help guide them to a general dentist for continued care.

Emergency Care

We are available for emergency dental treatments for existing patients only. If your child is experiencing a dental emergency, please contact our office as soon as possible.

Our office is conveniently located just off the freeway, making it easy for families in Atwater, Merced, and surrounding areas to visit us.

We strive to make dental care affordable and straightforward:

  • We accept PPO insurance plans
  • Medi-Cal accepted
  • Payment options include cash and credit/debit cards

At this time, we do not offer membership plans, specials, or promotional offers.

Scheduling & Availability

We are expanding our availability and are now open on Thursdays to better serve your family’s schedule.

Recently moved to this area and had to find a new place for kids to go to. I am very glad I found this place. It is super clean and neat. The staff and the Dentist were nice and professional, but the Dental Assistant was actually the nicest and she is the real reason I’m leaving 5 stars. I wish I remembered her name but she made both of my children feel really comfortable. Highly recommend this place to anyone with children.

I’ve never had a bad experience. Wait times aren’t bad at all, they’ve been nothing but understanding and accepting of my wishes with my children, staff is always friendly and down to earth just like the doctor, and they work hard each time to get my younger one to open up and cooperate which honestly isn’t always that easy. My kids all love going to “the Dino dentist” and are constantly asking when they can go back. A+ in my books. We appreciate you all!

Best experience! It was son’s first real dental visit. They were super nice! The place is decorated with all kinds of dinosaurs and they have a tv in every room with a movie playing. My son more recently has gotten into toy story. Now I don’t know if they put toy story on bc he was wearing a toy story shirt or if it was just a coincidence, but he loved it! I’d recommend them to anyone with kids!
